How do I create my tribute fund page?
Click the small blue or orange box that says "create an in-memory tribute page" above. The process is very fast and simple, just follow their steps and fill in the details about the person who you are remembering.
How will my donation and giving page help support Diabetes UK?
Your donations help us invest more into diabetes research than any other UK charity. With your help, we're getting closer to a world where diabetes can do no harm. Every penny you raise goes towards our care and support services, advice and guidance, and pioneering research. Together, we're changing the world for people with diabetes.
- £30 could help more people receive crucial information and advice on their diabetes.
- £60 could train new professional helpline advisors to help answer every call.
- £100 could kick start investment into high-quality research projects which could shape the future of diabetes care.
I have created my giving page, what are the next steps?
Thank you again for setting up your giving page and for thinking of our charity in this way.
JustGiving offers a number of ways you can personalise your page to make it stand out. You can add a pictures to highlight who you are honouring, share your loved one’s story and their experience of living with diabetes.
Once your giving page is ready to go, we recommend sharing it with your friends and family and letting them know how they can help. You can share your JustGiving URL on your social media pages, by text message, and download a QR code to add to your order of memorial service booklet.

How can I find out more about Diabetes UK?
Our team are here to help you. If you have any questions about your giving page or would like to find out more about our work, please contact our fundraising team at fundraising@diabetes.org.uk or call our office on 0345 123 2399
How are the donations transferred to Diabetes UK and am I able to claim Gift Aid?
No. These services take care of the financial and admin work. JustGiving collect the donations made online through your page, add Gift Aid and then they transfer the total, directly on to us. These services make it very easy for people to donate money or sponsor you. If you have any offline money, we can help you donate this on to the charity, for assistance with this, please contact the team at tributefund@diabetes.org.uk.
Doesn't JustGiving charge a fee? Isn't it better if I send you the money directly?
There is no fee for fundraisers and donors. There is a small fee for us though.
These services make it very easy for many people to raise funds for us. They manage the financial transactions (collecting donations, claiming Gift Aid, transferring amounts back to us) and for this they charge a small administrative fee. We believe that we get very good value for this small fee as otherwise we would have to spend a lot more time on tools and administration to properly collect funds raised.
